Pre-K

The Pre-K Curriculum enables each teacher to teach a successful, high quality language and academic program. This program includes Bible lessons, skills development, phonics, reading, writing and math.

Our Daily Schedule

8:40-9:00 Meet and greet
9:00-9:10 Routines
9:10-9:35 Pledges, praise, worship, bible, etc.
9:40-11:00 Instruction
11:00-11:30 Lunch
11:30-12:00 Recess
12:00-12:30 Clean up, teeth brushing, bathroom
12:30-2:30 Nap time
2:30-3:00 Instructional recap
3:00-3:15 Snack
3:15-4:00 Active play / recess
4:00-6:30 Free play & departure

Supplies needed throughout the school year

  • 4 large boxes of Kleenex
  • 2 bottles of hand sanitizers
  • 6 glue sticks
  • 1 8-count box of “fat” crayons
  • 1 box of 8-10 washable markers (primary colors)
  • 1 blanket and pillow for use at nap time
  • Art smock to protect clothes
  • Toothpaste & Toothbrush
  • 4 Vinyl folders with pocket (plain, no characters)
  • 1 small bottle of Elmer’s Glue
  • 1 Fiskars round tip children’s scissors
  • 1 small plastic pencil box
  • 1 box of 12-count colored pencils (Crayola is best)

The Pre-K2 class uses the A Beka Curriculum which is a phonics-based curriculum. It also incorporates other activities centered on math, science, nature, colors and shapes.

Extremely Important
Please send a full change of clothing in a large Ziploc bag that will be used in the case of accidents. Please send a container to store school supplies.
